How many  times have you been asked this question ‘do you believe in life after death’?  I once had a cousin who told me she had had a death experience earlier and she told me she could look down at her body that was still on the bed and saw as the doctors worked to bring her back to life!  I don’t think there have been very many who have had such an  experience!  Now I don’t mean that kind of death when I asked this question.  We all  know of people who have gone on, some of them we feel were ready to go, while others we have to leave in the hands of a merciful God.  It is not our job to judge anyone!    In the book of Job chapter 14 & verse 14 Job asked the question ‘if a man die shall he live again’?    Many would have answered Job with ‘No, of course not’!   Now I also know that we have no promise of tomorrow! It is good to make  sure we know where we are going if we pass away!  As the Bible tells us there is only two places we can go, either heaven or hell, I’m sure that nobody would want to go to hell!  Hell is a place that was prepared  for the devil and his angels  but the Bible tells us that because man has become so wicked that hell hath enlarged itself!   Read Isaiah 5:14 to get what it says about it!  It  also tells us  that  Hell is a place that will burn forever and that there will  be weeping and wailing, and gnashing of teeth,   It sure doesn’t  sound like a  place I would  want to be! You can read this for yourself in Matthew 13 :49&50 .

I had a woman from a different denomination  visit me one day and she said “ if there is a heaven I don’t want to go there’!   I do hope she changed her thinking before she passed on. Revelations 21:22-24 gives us an idea of what heaven will be like!   the whole chapter is a great chapter to read!   I do want  to go to heaven!

Heaven, happy home above, Heaven land of peace and love, oh how I feel like travelling on!  Heaven eternal, heaven supernal, I am so glad that it’s real, oh how I want to go there!

When we all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be!  When we all see Jesus we will sing and shout the victory!

If anyone else is like my husband and I the first thing we do when we get out of bed in the morning is to look out the window and see what the weather is like today! This morning  it is a very nice day with the sun shining so bright we can say Thank you, Jesus, for another fantastic day! He gives us good weather every day, regardless of what we think of it, he knows just what we need! As the old saying goes,’red sky at night. sailors delight, red sky in the morning, sailors take warning!’   By this little saying a person can usually tell what kind of a day lies in store for us! If the sky is dark and overcast we usually say a storm is on it’s way!

Speaking of looking up, have you ever had a picture taken while looking down?  I think you would prefer to look up! I think your picture would turn out a whole lot better! Again, have you ever stopped to look up at the stars on a dark night?  What a beautiful sight to behold!  God’s handiwork is so beautiful!  Men think they are so smart but they can never be compared to what God has given us!  How could anyone ever say they  don’t believe there is a God up there who controls our universe?   He is certainly a great big wonderful God who cares for His people and knows our every need!  Micah 7 & 7  says  Therefore I will look unto the Lord.  I will wait for the God of my   salvation: my God will hear me!  Luke 7:19 And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus saying, art thou He that should come or look we for another? 20  Jesus answering said unto them, go thy way and tell John what things you have seen and heard; how the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised to the poor the gospel is preached,  and blessed is he whosoever shall not be offended in me! John 4;35 Jesus said ….I say unto you Lift up your eyes and look on the fields: for they are white already to harvest  Luke 21&28  Jesus had been teaching  and they said unto Him what shall be the sign of your returning and Jesus said unto them And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, for your redemption draweth nigh!  Most of the all the signs  have   come to pass!  Are You looking up yet?

Looking for that blessed hope, Looking for that blessed hope!  We know the hour is nearing, The hour of His appearing! OH, We’re looking for that Blessed hope!

Home, Sweet home, home, sweet home, where I’ll never roam!  I see a light in that city so bright!  it’s my home, sweet home!

The King is coming!  The  King is coming!  I just heard the trumpet sounding and soon His face I’ll see!  The King is coming  for me! T he King is coming!  Praise  God, He’s coming for me!

Once again I can say I am so glad that God is so good to me!  He has answered my prayers so many times, even when I didn’t deserve it! I just want to thank Him for everything He has done and every prayer He has answered for me! Here are just some of the things He has done for me!  To start with He sent the glorious plan of salvation my way and gave me parents who brought me up to know and to serve Him. As I have said before, I remember Him talking to me even before I started to school.  When I was eight years old I was baptized in His precious Name for the remission of my sins, which I will never forget, and when I was twelve years of age He filled me with the gift of the Holy Ghost, He kept me down through the years even though I made many mistakes, He always forgave me when I called upon Him for forgiveness!  He healed my body, I  remember my Mom telling me that when I was just a baby I had pneumonia, even the doctor told her I probably wouldn’t live but she knew the great physician and he touched me  and made me whole!  it seemed I was always getting hurt, I fell backward from my highchair and broke my collarbone, and another time I fell out and burned my hands on a red hot stove!  I always came through, He always had His hand upon me!  The first time I remember my Dad praying for my healing I came home from school with a bad tooth ache and went up top my bed, crying, I didn’t go down for supper and the first thing I knew my Dad was standing beside me, saying so you have a toothache, I’m going to pray for you and Jesus will make it go away! So he prayed for me and immediately the pain stopped, and he took me down for supper!  I will never forget that experience!  Since then I have had several, more serious things, healed! Thank you Jesus, I am so glad I know Him! I also  had a w\onderful Dad that knew how to pray!

I will never forget that Sunday morning, August 8,1948 when Dad brought me home from church and said there is going to be a baptism this afternoon Sis.Minnie Beek is being baptized!   I said “can I be baptized too?” He said “well, I don’t know if you understand or not, I said  ‘yes I know why I want to be baptized, I want  to have my sins washed away’. he then looked at Mom who was working in the pantry and said ‘What do you think Mae?’ she then called me in to the pantry and talked to me, and I told her the same thing. She then said well, she is only 8 years old! Bro. Elwood McElman was there that  day and he said ‘don’t stop her if she wants to be baptized!’ So they agreed with him, and I was baptized that day!  Almost Four years later I received the gift of the Holy Ghost! (Jan 15,1952) I am so glad I obeyed the gospel of Acts 2:38. Then Peter said unto them Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus for the remission of your sins an ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost for the promise is unto you and to your children and to all that are afar off as many as the Lord our God shall call! I am so glad I heard this message as a child and obeyed!

So if you have never heard this message before read Acts 2&38-39 and you will find it is for you today! You will also be glad you did!  First we must repent of all sin and then be baptized in the name of Jesus and you can come up out of the water speaking in that heavenly language! As I said before, You will be so glad you did!

I’m so glad that I’ve been buried in the name of the Lord, In the name of the Lord, in the name of the Lord.  I’m so glad that |I’ve been buried in the name of the ;Lord, since the name of the Lord has been revealed!

That name is Jesus!

Do you know anyone that you can really trust today? If you know at least one person you can fully trust you are really fortunate! I am really blessed to have my husband as I can trust whatever he says!  I may not always agree with him but I know he will do whatever he says he is going to do!  It is very seldom that I disagree with what he says! I always go to him for advice, as next to my LORD. he is my best friend and I trust him with everything!  I also know of a few friends that I can really trust too! I can tell them whatever and can trust them not to tell anyone else!  So you see I am really blessed! To be able to trust someone is quite a thing! So many  say that they are trustworthy but you find out when it’s too late that they were not, when somebody else comes along and tells you what you said in confidence!  In case you may not know what trust is, according to my dictionary this is what it says, unquestioning belief in the integrity, strength of a person or thing; a person or thing that can be relied upon! So if you have proven this to be true then you may be able to trust that person!  That is one thing I found out about my husband before I married him he could be trusted!  I wouldn’t want to go through life with someone that I couldn’t trust.I would recommend to anyone who is contemplating marriage that you find out if you can trust him/her before hand!

I do know one that I can trust with anything at anytime! His name is Jesus and I know that I can trust Him even more  than my husband!  He knows all about me and loves me just the same!  Psalms 4&5 says  offer the sacrifices of righteousness ,and put your trust in the Lord.  5:11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice:let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them  let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee!  7& 1 O Lord my God , in thee do I put my trust. Ps.34 & 8 O taste and see that the Lord is good: Blessed is the man that trusteth in Him!   Years ago my brother-in-law was very sick and I was sitting in church that Sunday evening praying for him When all of a sudden a hand wrote  the wall the following scripture on the wall in front of me:    ‘”Commit thy way unto the lord, trust also in Him’ and he shall bring it to Pass!”  When I nudged my husband to look at it, it left the wall . But he was healed and is still with us today  this scripture is found in Psalms 37& 5.  so many times since that I’ve had to trust in that promise! I love that scripture!   Isa. 26”4Trust ye in the Lord forever. In the Lord Jehovah is everlasting strength.  Mark10 & 24 Jesus said “ children, how hard it is for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God.  1Cor 1&9  But we had the sentenced of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God that raiseth the dead!  Jesus is just the same today , Praise His Holy  Name!

Trust and obey for there is no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey!

Trusting as  the moments fly  Trusting as the days go by Trusting Him what’ere befall Trusting Jesus that is all.

If most people are like me, they take for granted weather warnings etc.  I always like to know if a hurricane, tornado or even a thunder shower is on it;s way across our area!  At least we can usually get prepared as much as we can for things like that!  A while back we had a dog , called Brandi, who like me, was terrified of thunder and lightening, and the two of us would sit in our own little corner in the downstairs where we couldn’t see the lightening.  If there was a heavy clap of thunder I would try to calm her down as much as possible, and since  that  time it seems I haven’t been nearly as afraid during thunder showers as I had been!   I often think of those poor people who live in those areas where earthquakes and tornadoes have been taking place, they must live a life of terror!  We have so far been fortunate enough to miss  these things and I thank God for His protection!

Again I think of that great city of  Nineveh whom God said he would destroy in 40 days unless they repented, So He told Jonah to go and tell them His message.  Now Jonah didn’t want to go to  that city and went instead to a ship that was going to Tarsus, but God intervened and caused a storm to come up so fierce that the crew were afraid of their ship capsizing!  They then decided to cast lots to find out whose fault it was that this storm came up, apparently they didn’t get storms like this!  But God had a large fish prepared to swallow Jonah!  God knew before hand what they cast Jonah out he ended  up in the belly of the whale.  After three days  he cried out to God for help!  He was still alive and realized where his only help would  come from!  God heard his cry and caused the whale to vomit Jonah out upon dry ground. So Jonah went to  Nineveh and told them that in 40 days  Nineveh would  be destroyed  At his preaching the whole city fell on their faces and cried out to their God  for help !  God did hear them and forgave them and Jonah was angered!  The rest of the story can be found in the book of Jonah.  Another people; that I think about are those in the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah.  they too were a wicked people, God sent two angels to warn them but the people rejected them, so God told them they would destroyed by fire, which they were!  The next people I think of are the people of today!  We are living in a day where people just don’t take time  to  stop and think about God, or their soul, or what is going to happen to them when they pass away.  The Bible tells us that we have no promise of  tomorrow, neither do we have any promise of the next few minutes!  People are passing away left and right, young and older.  This very week I heard of a young man, somewhere around 28 years of age and today my friend  who was 103 years this month. This is just in our little  area.  I wonder how many in this  present world has gone on today to their reward!  I am happy to say I believe my friend at 103 years of age made it in, she told us awhile ago that  she was ready to meet her maker!  I was there when  she accepted Christ as her personal saviour, also when she was baptised in Jesus name and later while visiting her in the nursing home I heard her speaking in that heavenly language. So I  believe she  obeyed ACTS 2:38.  I can’t judge anyone I  can only leave others in  t he hands of a merciful God.

On the day of Pentecost when  Peter  stood up and told the people what CHRIST had said  they  asked him,’What most we  to be saved?”  Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of the Lord Jesus  Christ for the remission of sin and ye shall receive the gift of the holy Ghost. For the promise is for you and to your children and to all that are afar off, as many as the Lord our God shall call. Now you don’t have to take my word for it, you can read it yourself in Acts chapter 2 and verse 38  & 39.   If you don’t know for sure if you are ready or not would you please read this portion of scripture and pray about it, ask Jesus to let you know what is right for you, I promise he will do that very thing for you!

Jesus  said it , I believe it, His Word cannot lie,  If It is written in the BIBLE  I’ll believe it till I die! Though the mountains be removed and cast into the sea, God;s Word shall live forever, even through eternity!

I searched  for Him  and knew not what I searched for!  I longed for Him and knew not what I longed for!  Then I found Jesus, I knew that I would search   He filled that longing down in my soul!

We shall See The King!

  • I know I wrote before on the KING IS COMING,but we are that much nearer to His coming and I want to see the King when He comes!  No man knows the day nor the hour of His coming but we do know we are living in the season of His coming! You may say ‘how do you know?’  Well, He told us when we see these signs come to pass then look up for our redemption draweth nigh! It seems to me that anyone could tell these signs such as the violent storms and earthquakes that are happening all over the world!  That would probably be enough to let us know things are happening just as he said they would! Matt.24:5 Many shall come in my name , saying I am Christ and shall  deceive many, and ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars, there shall be pestilences and famines, all these are the beginning of sorrows   verse 8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. v.10t then shall many be offended , and shall betray one another and shall hate one another.  and many false prophets shall arise and shall deceive many. 12 and because iniquity shall abound , the love of many shall wax cold.but he that shall endure until the end the same shall be saved…14..and this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for  a  witness unto all nations, and then shall the end come! v.21  for there shall be great tribulation , such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time no, nor ever shall be. and except those days should be shortened , there should be no flesh saved: but for the elects sake  those days shall be shortened.42.  watch therefore :for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.44 Therefore be ye also ready:for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.

Oh I want to see Him, look upon His face, there to sing forever of His saving grace, on the streets of glory, let me lift my voice, cares all past, home at last , ever to rejoice.    This world, this world is not my home.   This world, this world is not my home. This world is not my resting place. This world, this world is not my home! This world is not my home. I’m just passing through My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue. The angel beckoned me from heavens open door, and I cant feel at home in this world any more.

What a beautiful day for our Lord to come again!    What a beautiful day for Him to take His children home! How  I long to see His face and to touch His nail scarred hands.  What a beautiful day for our lord to come again!

I remember  when I was just a child , no more than 10 years old, being in children’s church with Sis. Myrtle Mowatt as our teacher, and she was talking about what it would be like in the last days.  She said we may be around to see it but to me it seemed so far away! I really didn’t expect to be around that long, but I guess she knew what she was talking about! It really scared me back then, perhaps that is why I can  remember it today. She said for one thing that we would probable see the day that the Police would be able to sit on the road outside our houses and know what was going on inside!  They can do that today!  And even more than that with the Satellite dishes and every.thing in the heavens they can tell what we are doing where ever  we are! She taught us so much including  the “ MARK  of the BEAST” , and that is another thing I would like to tell you about. This is a chip with the number 666 on it which  they put in the back of the hand or the forehead!  If you don’t take this mark, you won’t be able to buy or sell,  but if you do take the mark you will miss out on eternal life! This chip is already being given out in different parts of the Draft – Saved 28/09/2013 8:39 PM!  They are telling us it is much safer to have this mark. especially if a small child is  kidnapped, it would be much easier to find. Pretty soon we will have to make the decision whether to have it or not,  That is when we are really going to need God in our lives to give us the strength to say “NO”!  The pleasures of sin are but for a season but the gift of God is Life eternal!

Jesus told them in Matt. 24:25  behold I have told you before, 27 For as the lightening cometh out of the east, and shineth unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of Man be. 29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from  heaven, and the powers of the heaven shall be shaken. And then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven, and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31- And He shall send his angels with the great sound of a  trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other,32. Now learn a parable of the fig tree, When his branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, ye know that summer is nigh. 33 So likewise when ye shall see all these things know  that it is near even at the door. 34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled. 35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words  shall not pass away. 37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. 42 Watch therefore: for ye know not the hour that your Lord doth come. 44 Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh!

We are living in the last days!  Jesus said “When ye see these signs come  to pass then look up for your redemption draweth nigh!”  It will pay to be ready to meet Him on that great day! Oh I want to be ready to meet Him By and By. I  want to be ready to meet Him in the sky. For I want to be more like him and do His blest command, for I want to be ready to meet Him in the Glory Land!     At the end of the journey, the journey, is God! Though I’m footsore and weary. My feet [poorly shod. I will lay down  my burdens, my staff and my rod.  For at the end of the journey is God!
