JUST ME!

I really don’t like  to be alone or  (just me)  anymore!  I love having company  it is just that I like having people around!  I guess some of it is in the way I was brought up! We were a fairly large family who had a lot of friends over at our house, so that when we were all at home, along with our friends the house was most  always full. Even today there is seldom a day that goes by that we do not have company drop in just for a short visit!

If we go on a trip, which is usually just a short day trip now, we like to take somebody along with us.  This summer I would like to go up around the North Shore, as it has been some time since we have done that!  It seems harder today to get anyone to go on a trip with us as most are so busy doing their own thing! I know quite a few people who like to go on a cruse for a couple of weeks, but I wouldn’t like that myself.  I would find it too boring, also too costly! If I don’t get to take a trip this summer, or even next year, I do know that it wont be long before I will be taking the trip of my life! I do hope that I will be taking others with me when I leave here! I am just waiting for that day and when I think of it I get so excited! St. John 14th chapter says “I am going to prepare a place for you, that where I am there ye may be also!”  Matt.24;30…..and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory! and He shall send His angels with a great sound o0f a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

When we meet him in the clouds of the sky, oh what singing and shouting there will be.

When our trials are ore and we’re tempted no more, and the face of our saviour we shall see.

When we meet him in the clouds of the sky, to this wicked world we’ll say goodbye.

Heavens bells will be ringing, and the saints will be singing when we meet him in the clouds of the sky.

Just as i am without one plea, but that thy blood was shed for me. And that thou bidd’st me come to thee, lamb of god come, i come.

As everyone knows by now,I am not very smart! I have thought many times, if only I had gone to University and got my Masters Degree, I could maybe have been a Social Worker or Counsellor! Perhaps then I could have been more of a help to others! But since I didn’t do that I will just keep doing what I am doing, and leave everything in God’s hands! He who knows all things can take what I write and get it out across the net to someone who may need what I am led to write I sometimes think”If only I could be more like my husband” as he seems to know what to do in just about every situation! I am not saying that he is always right because he is just human and allowed to make mistakes the same as we all do! It is just that he is so handy with things, he can do just about anything he puts his hand to! For instance, today a young man up the road was having problems with a car and my husband went up and fixed it for him in just a few minutes! It seems he is always helping someone with something! He who knows all things, knew what was in store for me! He gave me a wonderful husband and lots of good frends plus a good group of great care givers! When I get down He is always there to lift me up again! This friends name is Jesus! He knows all about you too, and loves you just as much as he loves me!

Getting Ready!

This morning I am getting ready to go for blood work once again!  I’ve been going  every week for  blood work for the past three years, except for three times they put it up to two weeks. Sometimes it takes a real effort to  get ready  while it used to be “getting ready” to go some place, regardless of where it was, seemed to be a pleasure!   I guess that is what “Old Age” does for you!  However it seems to take a real effort to get ready for anything, even to go to Church most of the time!  ( am not complaining I am just telling it as  it is!  Even though it may take some effort,I am thankful for the strength  that I have to get ready mostly  by myself   each time!  I know there are many things I just can’t  do for  myself anymore and I am so very slow with everything that I try to do, I sometimes get  very frustrated I never was  very  fast to begin with,so I’m just so much worse than I ever dreamed of  being!

Some times it’s good that we don’t know what !s ahead for us in his old life! There are certain things that we just can;t get ready for in this life , it wouldn’t have  done me any good whatsoever to know that this disease lay ahead for me!  Most of the time we have to take just one day at a time! You can never get ready for a disease, although we can prepare  for our after life!  This is the most important thing in this life!  Paul said in Philippians 1;21 “for me to live is Christ, to die is gain”.  Getting ready for the Rapture is not tiresome but it makes you feel so good and bubbly inside!

Ready to leave in the twinkling of an eye, making investments in the Bank up in the sky!  Happy preparations, nothing to grieve   Are you  in  that  number getting  ready to leave?           Ready to go, Ready to stay. Ready my place to fill.  Ready for service., lowly or great. Ready to do His  will!                                         I’m getting ready to leave this world: I’m getting ready for those gates of pearl! Making my garments white, Watching both day and night I’m getting ready to leave this world!

Have you ever had someone caring for you and you got attached to them, they said “I will never leave you” but the first thing you know they are being pulled out to care for somebody else! Perhaps you and your boyfriend/girlfriend has broken up and now you just don’t feel that you can go on without them! Now you feel so alone and unloved! Or, perhaps your best friend has left town and you feel friendless once again! Your  husband/wife has left you after all these years and you have never felt so alone in all your lifetime, you are just broken hearted, wondering how you are ever going to make it through this one! After all, they had promised to stick with you through thick and thin, for better or for worse, in sickness and in health, till death us do part.  Or perhaps you may have lost a loved one through death, when things are settled down after the funeral is over and you are once again left alone, you can do nothing but weep!  It is in times like this that we really need a friend that will never leave us nor forsake us!

You may ask “is it possible to have such a friend as this?”  I want to assure you, yes, there is one who is just waiting to be that kind of a friend to you! His name is Jesus, the Lord of Lords and King of all Kings!  Hebrews 13;5 says ‘let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he has said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, the Lord is my helper, I will not fear what man shall do unto me! If you are afraid of being left alone psalms 34:7 tells us the angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear Him, and delivereth them!  verse 8 O taste and see that the Lord is good, blessed is the man that trusteth in Him! Verse 18 “l will not leave you comfortless;I will come to you! John 14;1-3 Let not your heart be troubled, ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my father’s house are many mansions, if it were not so I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you I will come again and receive you unto myself, that where I am there ye may be also!

No, never alone, no never alone. He promised never to leave me, never to leave me alone. No never alone, No, never alone. He promised never to leave me. never to leave me alone!

I’ll never be  lonely again, never again for I have opened my heart’s door to Him. So, I’ll just brush away my tears and forget my foolish fears.  I’ll never be lonely again, never again

Constantly abiding, Jesus is mine. constantly abiding, rapture divine’ He will never leave me lonely, whispers oh so  kind “I will never leave thee” Jesus is mine!

I know I have already written about “are you ready” but today I want to ask you this question, ‘Are you ready to leave”?

If my husband happens to go out I will most always say “Where are you going?” or “are you ready to leave”?  I just don’t like to see anyone leave if they are not ready to go! For instance my hubby went to church on Sunday morning but when he  got there, he happened to look down at his feet and lo and behold, he had forgotten his shoes! He did have his crocks one. While some  laughed  about this  it could have easily ruined the service for him, had he let it, but he just laughed and “said nothing I can do about it now!”  He had left the house before he was ready to leave!

Now I want to seriously ask you this question! Are you really ready to leave if Jesus should return for his people this very minute?  Have you repented of your sin, been baptized in Jesus Name and have received the infilling of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit of God gives the utterance and living                 a holy life that is pleasing to Him?  Yes, I know we are not perfect, nor can we expect to be until we see Christ, but  His Word tells us if any man sin we have an advocate with Jesus Christ the Righteous!  If we are repentant and go to Him in prayer He will forgive us our sin!  Isn’t God good?  What a hope we have in Him!  Heb.9:28  So Christ was once offered for the sins of many; and unto them that look for Him shall He appear the second time without sin unto salvation!Heb.12&14  Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the lord!Ready to leave in the twinkling of an eye, making investments in the Bank up in  the sky, Happy preparations, not a reason to grieve,  Are you in that number getting ready to leave?
