Most of you mother’s of newborns probably know the feeling when somebody comes up and looks at the little one,be it he or she, and says “He/she is so sweet!” You just feel so proud! Because that is your little one they are talking about. Now I love newborn babies, they are not all pretty, but they are all just precious!  A new little one is so innocent but also so dependent  upon you!  I just love to hold them!                                      Can’t you just imagine how Mary must have felt when baby JESUS was born! what a beautiful baby He must have been! This was a special childa and she alone knew that the Great I Am was His father! Oh, how blessed she now felt! I wonder how she felt when the wise men paid Him  a visit! she probably wondered  how they found out about her child! Again and again how her heart would rejoice as she looked at her miracle child! How frightened she must have been when Joseph awakened them in the night and said “we have to leave right  now as King Herod is looking for Jesus and wants to kill Him!” What fear must have gripped her heart while on the  road to  Nazareth  and how she must have shuddered whenever some one looked at Him and said ‘what a sweet child’! Her thoughts probably went from time to time to Ananias the High Priest and his words how thAT a sword would pierce  her soul also!  When He was twelve years old and they took Him to the temple but after a days journey back home they looked for him in the crowd but He wasn’t with them, how she must have panicked, they found  Him on the third day still in the temple talking to  the High Ups!  When Joseph questioned Him, how is it that you are still  here, don’t you know that your mother and I have been worried about you?  He answered them calmly “But didn’t you know I  must be about my father’s business?”                                                                                      How the years must have flown past for Mary, for now we read how he performed His first miracle in Cana of Galilee, where He turned the water  wine! His mother must have been so proud of Him that day!It probably wasn’t too long after that first miracle that Mary’s heart was troubled once again as she learned they wanted to kill Jesus! He was still her sweet baby boy! Then as she stood at the foot of His cross her heart was broken! .Her precious boy was giving His life for the sins of many but as she stood there watching his eyes turned to her and his beloved disciple, John and he said to John , “Behold your mother!” and He took her home to his house that day!Her sweet baby boy was still thinking of her even in his  dying hours! So then we read how Mary was in the upper room when the Holy Ghost was poured out on the day of Pentecost, which she also received! If Mary needed this Holy Ghost then I am sure that we  all need it today to be ready for the rapture of the church.  HE IS STILL SO SWEET!  Reminds me of a song composed by my sister when she was just a teenager it is something life this.  He carried  His cross up Calvary’s hill and was placed upon it to die.The Son of God in a world of sin. He suffered for you and I.  Jesus my Lord of Mount Calvary.  He who has born such agony. Jesus who prayed in Gethesemane, Let this cup pass from me!    Jesus is the sweetest name I know! And He’s just the same!   Praise  His Holy name!  That’s the reason why I love  Him so!  For Jesus  is the sweetest name I know!  He is sweet I know! He is sweet I know! Storm clouds may rise. strong winds may blow! I’ll tell the world, everywhere I go, that I have a Savior and He is sweet I know!

This was another one of those childhood games we would play each and every time our neighbor next door had her grandchildren come for the holidays and their cousins who also lived on the other side of us would get together at our house to play games! you could hear a leader holler – after counting to 100 , so that they could all hide,” READY OR NOT – I’M COMING!”  Many times I’ve gotten caught because I just couldn’t find a good place to hide!  It isn’t a very nice feeling to know that you’ve been caught with no place to hide!                                                                                                               When  Jesus was sending forth his disciples ,he was explaining what to watch for, in Matt, 10:26 Fear then not therefore, for there is nothing covered , that shall not be revealed; and hid that shall not be known. In  1 Cor. 4:5 tells us that when the Lord comes , He will bring to light the hidden things of darkness  and will make manifest the councils of the  heart. 2 Cor. 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost!    Col. 2:3 talking about God, in whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. Psalms 119:11 Thy word have I hid in my heart that I might  not sin against thee!

Jesus told his disciples not to fear, He knows everything, even before it happens! What a wonderful , awesome God we serve!  when Jesus comes He will bring to light the hidden things of darkness. There is just nothjing that we can hide from Him in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom.  I truly want my sins to go before me and to be covered with His blood, rather than to come after and to be judged on that day! The only thing I want to hide is His Word hidden in my heart, so that I might not sin against Him! as the Psalmist David said. It will be a terrible thing on that day to be found “not ready” to meet Him! There will be no place to hide. like that chorus says No hiding place down here, no hiding place down here. I went to the mountains to hide my face but the rocks cried out NO HIDING PLACE, no hiding place down here!  Soon this old world will hear READY OR NOT=I’M COMING!  Jesus said, Behold I come quickly and my reward is with me!  Obey Acts 2:38 and be ready to meet Him!

I don’t know of many people  who like appointments I’ve had an appointment just about every week for the past two years for blood work! It gets to be a real nuisance especially if I have any plans at all for that day! I have been on blood thinners for over two years so I guess they have to keep a check on it!  We usually have to wait a least two hours to see the doctor, even when we have an appointment! We live in such a busy world that we need an appointment for just about every thing. I sometimes think I should do as my niece did one day while   visiting me.She happened to look down at her watch and said “oh my, I had a Doctor’s appointment for two 0’ clock and it is two right now”, she  laughed and said oh well, He can just wait for me as I always wait for him for a couple hours”. Why is it that nobody likes to wait?  Then there  are times when we may  change our appointment for absolutely  no reason at all, other than we just don;t want to be bothered.  There are appointments other than Doctors, so I                shouldn’t  pick on Doctors. There is one         appointment  we are all sure to keep, there is just no way of getting around it!  Psalms 39:4 says Lord, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is; that I may know how frail I am.  Ps. 90:12 so teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom! Ps 80:47 Remember how short my time is.wherefore hast thou made all men in vain?   Romans 13:11and that knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep; for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed.  1 Cor 7:29 But this I say Brethern , that time is short…..2 Cor. 6:9…behold now is the accepted time, behold now is the day of salvation! Rev. 10:5&6  And the angel which I saw stood upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven and sware by Him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven and the things that therein are , and the earth and the things that therein are , and the sea and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer! Hebrews 9;27 ,,,it is appointed unto man once to die but after this the  judgement!

Everyone living should know that the appointment is right upon us! We can feel it in the air!  All we have to do is pick up the newspaper or turn the radio on to hear the signs that are coming to pass just as the Bible tells us they will! For those who are ready it will be a glorious day but I shudder to think what will happen to those who won’t accept Christ as their lord and Saviour!     Everybody ought to know, Everybody ought to know. everybody ought to know who Jesus is! For He’s the lily of the valley! He’s the bright and morning star! He’s the fairest of ten thousand, everybody ought to know!

Everybody will be happy, will be happy over there! over there, over there!  We will shout and sing God’s praises!  Everybody will be happy over there!

We were a very poor family as far as material things are concerned when I was a very young child. I do remember Bath time on Saturday night!  We didn’t  have electricity, therefore there was no running water so my dad would carry it from the well. He would fill all the containers, pails, tank on the stove and then a large round tub and set it  on the back of the stove to heat as this is bath night!  Dad was first in line for his bath  , then my older sister and I, then my two brothers would have their bath and we would all be   clean for Sunday School the next morning!  Mom was up first in the morning so she could have a bath before we got around.  What a change when we got electricity, we could have a bath when ever we wanted one! We all enjoyed bath time but no one as much as my Dad who didn’t have to carry water! There was now sufficient water for everyone to cleanse! When my two younger siblings came along they had it pretty good!   It always makes a person feel so good to have a nice clean body!                                     Even though it’s nice to have a clean body it is so much better to have a clean heart. You may ask  “how can I get a clean heart?” The Bible   tells me in Mark chapter 7 that the heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked, who can know it? The Bible also tells us that only God knows our thoughts and the intents of our heart and  therefore  He is the only one who can cleanse us! In Ezekiel chapter 11, verse 19 He told Ezekiel in a vision for Israel that He would take away their heart of stone and would give them a heart of flesh! Jesus came to earth to do this very thing for us when He went to the cross of Calvary and gave His life there for us that whosoever will may come and drink of the water of life freely.  If  we will obey him as Peter tells us to do in Acts Chapter 2  when they asked what must we do to be saved? He said for them to be baptized in Jesus Name and they would receive the gift of the Holy Ghost! If we want to have a clean heart today we must do the very same thing ,as God doesn’t change His mind! if we want to be rapture ready we must obey His Word as it also tells us it is better to obey than to sacrifice! You may say too, “we just don’t see it that way” if you truly can’t understand this , please get on your knees and crying out to Jesus ask Him to reveal Himself to you and to lead you in the right way! I am certain if you are sincere  that He will answer your heart’s cry and will come to your aid! Jesus is coming soon, please don’t put off your soul’s salvation, as you won’t want to me lost forever when there is sufficient cleansing for everyone through His precious blood that He shed for you and me!  He paid a great price for your soul! Satan uses this weapon against us telling us there is lots of time, that there is no hurry, but He is a liar, we have no promise of tomorrow!

Lift thine eyes and behold the latter rain falling today to ripen up the grain! Jesus is coming soon and with Him we shall reign! Jesus is coming soon again!
