Do you get as irritated as I do when you know what you want and just as you start looking some one comes up behind you and says “Now, what do you want?” It may be to help me really as they know I am fairly disabled, but I am thinking to myself , oh, if only you would leave me alone and let me get what 1 want!  It may take me a little longer but I can usually do things if left alone!  At other times I may be thinking why don`t you help me find this? Or can’t you see I would like something more? Sometimes it seems as if I can never be satisfied , I always  want more! I guess that is the way it is with most people in this life. We may get a car and for awhile we think it is just great , until we see our neighbours car and we think we really need one as nice as theirs! Again we may have a beautiful home until we visit someone else  and think , we should have this in our home so we go out and invest in another home (sometimes we even go deep in debt).  We may have all the money we need but we still covet more! The eye is just never  satisfied! In Matthew 6:30 Jesus in His sermon on the mount was talking about people who were always worrying about things of this life, said wherefore if God so clothe the grass of  the field , which today is, and tomorrow is cast into the oven , shall He not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?  Again in Matt. 7:11 Jesus said  If ye then being evil,  know how to give good gifts unto your children how much more shall your father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask Him? In Acts chapter 10 We read how a certain man in Caesaera Cornelius , a centurion of the band called the ITALIAN band, a devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave  much to the people and prayed to God alway. saw in a vision about the nineth hour of the day an angel of God coming into him, and saying unto him, Cornelius . And when he looked on him he was afraid, and said, What is it Lord? And He said unto him. Thy  prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial  before God. And now send men to  Joppa, and call for one Simon whose surname is Peter…. he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do. Ands when the angel which spake unto Cornelius had departed  he called two of his household servants , and a devout soldier who waited on him continually ….and sent them to Joppa . Now in the  meantime  Peter had a vision and was wondering what it meant, when he was called down  from the roof, these men wanted to see him and the spirit spoke to him and told him to go with them for He had sent them! When Cornelius saw him he fell down at his feet and worshipped him but Peter said stand up I am just a man too!  He then told them what they must do to be saved He said as he began to speak the Holy Ghost fell on them as on us at the beginning, then he remembered the word of the Lord John indeed baptized with water but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.  Forasmuch then as God gave them the Holy Ghost who believed on the  Lord Jesus Christ , what  was I that I could withstand God? God was with them and a great number more believed on the Lord and were saved! Peter made it  very clear  how that even though  he was a devout man he still had to be saved through Baptism in Jesus Name and the gift of the HOLY GHOST!
If that was the way to be saved back there then it is still the same today because God’s Word has never
changed! Something more than my yesterday! More than I had before!Something more than wealth or fame! He gave something worth living for!

He’s more than enough! He’s more than   enough!  He is El Shadi the God of plenty! He;s the all sufficient  One!   He is God all  mighty!Jesus   is    more than enough

Have you ever really been in love?  Now I’m not talking about puppy love! It  is not a love that you fall in and out of all the time, but regardless of what takes place  you will still love that person! It may have been when you were young you thought you were really in love, and then something happened and you changed your mind right off quick!  Perhaps you have even married a person you thought you loved only to find out later that you regretted it!  Some people will stay in a marriage for the sake of their children while others just won’t  put up with what their spouse is doing! If they are being misused and the spouse is running around I feel they have every right to a divorce! However it is far better to be sure you are in love before marriage and save yourself a lot of heartache!  Now I am in love with my husband!  We may not  always agree on everything because we are two different people, but that doesn’t stop me from loving him!

Even though I am still in love with my husband after 46 years of marriage, I am in love also with the Lover of my soul, and he is too!  This is a true love that never grows old or leaves me! This Lover of my soul is Jesus Christ who loved me long before I even knew Him!  He gave his life on mount Calvary for me! He not only gave His life for my husband and I but for every person on earth if they will only  accept Him as their own personal Lord and Saviour! He is the best thing that ever happened to us!  He also solves our every problem and can do the same for you, if you will let Him!

I love Jesus, He is my Saviour. He goes with me all day long!  When I’m in trouble He’s my refuge! He’s my Rock, He’s my shelter from the storm!

Once again its that time of year when we start to gather our crops and put them away for winter! I remember when I was a child my Dad would always grew all our food, from potatoes to beans, all kinds of vegetables, pumpkin ,onions, squash, turnips, parsnips beets, corn, tomatoes and cucumbers and even strawberries,He really had a green thumb. just whatever we needed we would find in Dad`s garden! When he was so ill and should never have been in the garden, he would go out and lay down and pull the weeds. He really loved to work and felt he had to keep busy! And then would come the harvest – what a turn out he would have!  Even today, my husband has a garden and are right now enjoying the results of all his hard work! It isn`t easy to have a garden as it very hard work but it is really worth it all come fall!

There is another great Reaping Day that is coming upon this  old  world very soon!  Not everyone will be ready for this day, but they that have washed their robes white in the blood of the LAMB! or they that have obeyed Acts 2:38 and works for the Lord! Psalms 126:5 says They that sow in tears shall reap in joy! We  need to P.U.S.H. (pray until something happens)! We will see souls saved and people healed by the Spirit of the Living God! Psalms 126: 6 says He that goeth forth with weeping bearing precious seed shall doubtless come again bringing his sheaves with him!

Harvest Time, it;s harvest time, The rain is falling, the Saviours calling Oh do not wait. Its growing late, Behold the fields are white it.s Harvest time!

It is always so nice when someone pops in on you and says just checking, how are things going?  It always seems to brighten up the day!   My Aunt Arthura from Chipman surprised me this morning when she came in “ to check on me”!   It is always so nice to see her!  She is at least twenty years older than me and hasn’t been that well of late but took the time to visit me this morning, driving herself here!  She is such a sweet lady! My sister-in-law too, often , checks in on me just to see how things are , and if I need anything she is always ready to help! Then too, My Pastor and his wife Bro.& Sis. Donald McCarty come by on several occasions and they always make one feel so special, also Bro. & Sis. Dan Swim drops in every once in a while, they too are beautiful people! I’m so glad I belong to God’s family! I want them to know that I really love and appreciate them! So many friends and also relatives drop in from time to time, it really helps to pass the time! I  want to say a big thank you to all of you! Also to all my home care workers for their patience and kindness to me! I had better not start naming as I am apt to leave some people out! I do want to stop right here and say a big Thank You to my wonderful husband who is also my prime care giver!  Thank you for your patience with me! I know I am not always the easiest person to get along with but you have been fantastic over the past 46 years and especially of late, since I’ve been under the weather!  No matter where he is, he is constantly checking in on me to make sure I’m alright!                                                                                                                           There is also someone else I want to say the biggest “Thank You” to!  it is Jesus Christ my  Lord and Saviour!  He checked in on me when I was lost in sin and shaped in iniquity and He picked me up out of the deep miry clay and set my feet on that solid rock, Christ Jesus!  He checks in on me many times during the day and also the night! He is the Great I AM!  He is the God of impossibilities!  He is also `Just .checking in on you right now!`  Won`t you accept Him as your lord and Saviour  too, there will come a day when you will need Him!

Jesus my hope is in you! Jesus my hope is in you! nobody else can carry me through! Jesus, my hope is in you!

How many times have we really worked hard trying our best to accomplish  something for somebody else and when all was said and done , they didn’t seem to appreciate it and hardly took  notice of it?  Just remember that when you are tired and discouraged from all your fruitless efforts that God knows how hard you have tried! There may have been many nights when you have prayed so long and hard for a lost soul, or loved one and cried so long your heart almost burst with anguish Just remember  that God has counted and bottled your tears!  Psalms 56;8…Put thou my tears into thy bottle; are they not in thy book?  Ps. 126:5  They that sow in tears, shall reap in  joy!

Sometimes you may feel like I felt awhile back, that your life is on hold and time has passed you by! Just remember that
God is waiting with you! Age does not matter with God. That is when He told me to write ! When I thought there was no more I could do for Him, He was there waiting for me!  When you feel so lonely and so alone, your friends are all too busy to even pick up the phone and give you a call remember that God is by your side!

When you think you have tried everything and there is no place to turn , or no one to turn to, you don’t have a solution for your problems just remember that God has a solution for you! Just don’t do anything drastic yourself  as He is waiting right there for you to turn to him for a solution!  When nothing makes sense to you anymore and you are confused and frustrated, just remember to go to God in prayer  He has the answer for you!

When suddenly your outlook is brighter and you find traces of hope, just remember  God has whispered to you! He has promised to never leave you, but will always be right by your side!  When you find that things are  going well and you have so much to be thankful for Just remember that God has blessed you!  Don’t forget to give Him the praise that is due to His Name!

When something joyful happens and you are filled with awe , be careful to lift up His Name and to magnify Him because He has smiled upon you once again!  When you have a purpose to fulfill or a dream to follow, just remember that God has opened your eyes and called you by name!  Don’t turn away from Him but follow His  pleadings!

Just remember that wherever you are  or whatever you are facing, GOD KNOWS!  and  GOD CARES!

Isn’t it nice on a very hot day to have a nice tall glass of ice water! It is just recently that  I learned to drink ice water as I  always preferred it at room temperature! My favourite today is a nice tall glass of lemonade, now that, I really enjoy, and if it is made with spring water, it is even better!  I remember when we went to the little one room school house. There was no running water, the only way we got running water was when our teacher would pick two children and tell them it was their turn to take the pail and run down to the spring for a pail of water. When they got back with the water we would all line up for a good cold drink. Or perhaps you have been in a berry field on a very hot day and when they come with a drink of cold water you drink to your hearts content and it just feels so good!

This reminds me of a story in Saint John chapter 4, If you are not familiar with it I will tell you what it says in my own words  One day Jesus was going to Jerusalem but for some reason He had…to go through Samaria.  He was very tired when  He got there and sat down on a well in Sychar while his disciples went on to the city to buy some meat or food  as they were hungry as well. While He`was sitting there a woman came to draw water. Now this woman did not have a very good reputation so she came when she apparently thought there would be nobody else at the well. She probably got the surprise of her life when she came to the well that Jacob had given to hid son Joseph and found a man sitting there, who was a Jew!  Now the Bible tells me that the Jews had no dealings with these Samaritans.  J

But, this wasn’t just any Jew, this was Jesus and He to her “Please give me a drink of your water!” What?
Did you ask ME for a drink of water? Don’t you know the Jews have no dealings with us`?   Jesus looked back at her and said.`if only you knew who asked you for a drink you would have asked me and I would have given you a drink of living water and you would never thirst again! she answered “Sir. give me of this water hat I will never thirst again! He said well go get your husband! At this statement she was surprised and said, Sir, I have no husband. She was even more surprised when He said, you  have well said, I have no husband because you have had five husbands and the man you are with now is not your husband!  When He said this she left her waterpots and ran into the city saying, `Come see a man who told  me  all things that ever I did, Is not this the Christ?

In Saint John 6:35 Jesus said “I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger and he that believeth on me shall never thirst , in chapter 7 vs.37 & 38.  again He said , If any man thirst let him come unto me and drink, He that believeth on me as the scripture hath said , out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water!  vs 39…This spake he of he spirit which they that believe on him should receive; for the HOLY GHOST was not yet given; because  that Jesus was not yet glorified!   Matt. 5 & 6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness; for they shall be filled! Thank God He is just the same today and it is still happening just as He said it would1  How do I know, because It happened to me! And you can have it too !   Yes the Power of God is just the same today and it doesn”t matter what the people say, Whatever God has promised He is able to perform for the Power of God is just the same today!
