When  I think  of Prayer I tend to think of the different kind of Prayer that there is! If you are anything like me, if I happpen to get a   scare of              any  kind  I  just automatically  call on that name I have come to love above all else  “Jesus” , knowing He hears my every cry and will come to my aid .            Before  going  any place in the car I like to pray and ask  God for His protection, to keep His hand on the wheel and bring us home again safely.  I’ve seen His hand work for us so many times!  My daughter-in-law still laughs at me whenever we talk  about our trip to  my  niece’s wedding in Doaktown.  My son was driving the car and the wheel seized when the drum dropped down on the   brake.  We   were  on a sharp turn and didn’t even   know   the  road. It gave us all a real scare as he had no control of the car at all.  It was at  this  point that I    loudly called on that Name in Prayer!  He managed to bring the car to a stop and we were able to drive on home without incident!  Another time I was travelling to Montreal with my son-in-law’s mother and his elderly grandmother, going at 120 kph, when the front wheel on the driver’s side came off and crossed  in front of the car!  We were all praying and she was able to bring the car to a stop without incident!  I ran across the ditch and got the wheel. A car came up behind us and two young men got out and put the small donut on the car for us and led us into Levee to a garage where we were able to get the tire fixed . We were not hurt at all   we got the tire fixed and went once again on our way!  They could  hardly believe what had Happened  again someone was looking after us!   The Bible tells us that the angel of the Lord encamps round about them   that  fear Him and delivereth them! One more episode that I have to tell you about!  I  was expecting  my oldest son and had an appointment in Fredericton  to  see my Doctor on my due date!  My sister-in-law offered to drive me in and it so happened that the roads were just a glare of ice.  About a mile up the road from our home there is a steep hill.  We had my young nephew with us and when we approached the to of the hill she got scared and put the brake on.  This caused the car to  go spinning  around and around down the  hill and over guard rail we went and into the brook below and the car landed on it top !  There were no seat belts in those days so we all three ended up lying on the roof inside the car. She was in shock and couldn’t find the keys to turn the engine off, so I reached up  and turned    the  car  off,  then kicked the door open through which we all  crawled out.  We then walked up the road to the Boone house and knocked on the  door until Laura  came out of the living room crying, she had run and  hid, afraid we  were  killed, had been watching from her window! My son was  born three weeks later!  I was so  glad  we  knew how to pray that day! God has been so good to me that I just cant tell right now of all the physical healings I have had, both me  and my family!  So many times I  have called on Him to come to our aid   There have been   prayers   of  repentance,  seeking forgiveness along with prayers  asking  for His guidance.  What a  wonderful and faithful Friend He  has been!

God answers Prayer in the morning, God answers Prayer at noon.  God answers Prayer in the evening! So keep your heart   in tune! Jesus may come in  the morning. Jesus may come at noon. Jesus may come in the evening !  So keep your heart in tune!

According to my dictionary “to seek” means to hunt for, follow after, to pursue, When I was a child, my brother loved to snare rabbits , a pair rabbits would result in him getting paid a whole dollar. Now I know today that doesn’t sound like a lot so money, but as a young boy with no money it seemed as if he was getting a fortune!I went with him many times in pursuit of rabbits. First of all he had to find the signs that rabbits were in the area, and then set his snares, going back later to see if he had snared any! My older sister loved to hunt deer, so she asked me to go with her, as she didn’t really want to go in the woods by herself! I went with her on only one trip, and I hated pursuing deer, She kept hushing me up, saying don’t make so much noise when you walk and don’t talk, you will scare the deer” What a horrible experience it was for me! I don’t think I ever again went in pursuit of wild animals! There was a game called “Hide and Seek” that I dearly loved to play, where one person would cover his eyes and count to ten while the others hid, then that person would shout “ready or not, sure to be caught,in your hiding place or not, I’m coming!” then you would start looking for the hidden ones, the last one found would then be “IT” and take their turn finding the hidden ones! Have you ever been lost and what a relief it was when you knew that someone was seeking for you and you would soon be found? Perhaps they had told you, “if you don’t show up within a certain time, we will be out looking for you! One day I was lost without any hope of ever being found and was told that Luke 19:10 tells me that Jesus said “For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost” I realized that I was one of those that He came for! Psalms 27:4 One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to enquire in His temple, Ps, 34;14 Depart from evil and do good; seek peace and pursue it. Matt. 6:31-33 Therefore take no thought, saying, what shall we eat, or, what shall we drink? or wherewithal shall we be clothed? (for after all these things do the Gentiles seek:)for your heavenly father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you! Matt. 7:7 and 8 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth: and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Jesus told the story of the lost sheep in Matt.18:12 How think ye? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, doeth he not leave the ninety and nine and goeth into the mountains and seeketh that which was gone astray? And if it be so that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoiceth more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray! I am so glad that he found me when I was that lost sheep who had gone astray! “He rescued me, He rescued me, from the cold dark waters of Life’s troubled sea, He rescued me, He rescued me! My Jesus reached down in love, and He rescued me!

was the third child in a family known as the MacBeth family1 I had a great Mom and Dad who loved the Lord with all their heart, they loved each other and loved their children very much, But, they put God first and that is what made our little family so special! Although we were a very poor family as far as the material things of this world goes, we didn’t have every-thing that so many others had.. Then again we were a very rich family as we had both a Mom and Dad to care for us and we knew Jesus Christ as our Heavenly Father and He supplied our needs! We always depended on Him for our every need! Today both of my parents have passed on also one of my brothers. But I still belong to God’s family for which I am so grateful! He has given me a husband and a family of my own, two boys and a girl and four granddaughters, along with a son-in-law and a daughter-in-law, whom we love so very much!We are truly thankful for the family of God! So many times they have come to our rescue! When we are down or feel discouraged they always have a comforting word for us, if we are ill we can call them to pray for us, and the God that hears our cry and gives us the strength to go on our way once again! I just wish that everyone knew Jesus as their personal Savior and Friend! He is just so special! I want to be a faithful servant to Him, and like Abraham of old to be called a friend of God! A Friend of Jesus, Oh, what bliss, that one so weak as I, should ever have a friend like this to lead me to the sky, Friendship with Jesus, fellowship divine, Oh,what blessed sweet communion. Jesus is a friend of mine! our every need. When we were ill, the doctor was seldom called, but they always called on Jesus who cams to to our house as the great Physician and always healed us! We really didn’t need have a lot of money back then as long as we had Him1

If you come into my yard there are two driveways that you can take, you can come in one driveway and out the other. Now if someone else comes in the other driveway they would meet in my yard! Again if we are going to the church I could go out the Coy Road and Roy could go out the Tibbets Road and we could both meet at the church, If going to Fredericton I could take route 10 and Roy could take the old TransCanada highway and we would meet at the Fort Nashwaak Hotel. It is just that most every where we go there is another way to get there! When we were children we always wanted to take a shortcut to get where we were going and were told by our elders “The safest way home is always the longest way”! The Bible tells us in Proverbs 14:12 “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death! This brings to mind once again the young wonam who followed her GPS and ended up in an old logging road . whom I think they found alive after quite a few days, also the couple who started on a journey (out west, i believe)and the GPS guided them into an old road and after they found themselves stuck and couldn’t get out, the husband decided to go for help. On the way he got himself lost. They never did find him but found his wife after many days. She said she lived on berries until found by some woodsmen! So many today start out on their journey and somehow get their eyes on the wrong thing and although they believe they are going the right way they are absolutely lost and don’t realize it as their eyes have been blinded by the enemy of their soul! Who comes as a wolf in sheeps clothing and pretends to be so good, until he gets you in his grasp, he then tells you he has you and you cannot get away. I have news for you if this is your situation. The Devil is a liar and if you call on Jesus,”,that old enemy, cannot hold you any longer because he cannot stay where JESUS is! Oh yes, He can even find you a church where you will be so comfortable even though they don’t preach the truth of God’s Word. Please call on Jesus and ask Him for direction before it is too late! Jesus is coming soon and you don’t want to find yourself lost on the wrong road! I suppose you are wondering right now why I titled this ‘where two ways meet,” well I believe there is just one way because Jesus said in John 14:6 ‘I am the way, the truth and the light, no man cometh unto he Father, but by me’. Now I don’t believe any denomination will save you! But in Matthew 7:13 & 14 Jesus said “Enter ye in at the strait gate; for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruiction, and many there be which go in thereat, because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it! He also tells us to gather ourselves together ,and so much more as ye see the day approaching! It is the Church of the Living God, which preaches the same message as they preached on the day of Pentecost According to Acts chapter 2! It also tells us in Romans 14:10…We shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ, verse 12 so that everyone of us shall give account of himself to God! So according to this Word which ever way we take we will end up before the judgment seat of God! We want to be sure that we are on the right road!! I am on my way to those mansions fair just over in the glory land,There to sing God’s praise and His Glory share. Just over in the Gloryland! God’s way is the only promise given, God’s way is the only way from here to Heaven. Calvary rescued me,my debt of sin is paid.I have found the only way is God’s way! I’m in the Gloryland way, I’m in the Gloryland way! Heaven is nearer, and the way growth clearer, for I’m in the Gloryland Way! , <font 3&14

Hummm, Now just what should I do about this? Decisions , decisions, it seems that every day we find ourselves in situations where we have to make a decision, whether it is just a simple one or something major! Perhaps you have a Doctor’s Appointment but the weather is bad like it is today, and you just can’t wait any longer, could be six months for another appointment, but you say “I’ve waited now for that long already.” That to me would be a major decision! In that case you would do what you had to do. Sometimes it may be just something that we should do around the house and we tend to put it off until what we feel is a more convenient time! Or, maybe someone comes seeking advice, we think we know just what we would do if in such a situation as this, but we don’t want to be blunt and tell it like it is, so we try to be kind and we may say the wrong thing! I think most all of us have found ourselves in situations like this! Instead of using our own judgment in most things, if we would take a moment to pray and ask God’s help things would go so much smoother for all concerned! I’ve found that when making major decisions it is always best to pray and ask for direction, When it comes to deciding which way to go it is absolutely necessary to seek God;s will for our lives! You may say “I know what I want to do, there is no need to pray about it”! That is definitely the wrong attitude to take as He is the only one who knows what tomorrow will bring! He is a just God and wants only what is best for His children! There are times when I get too busy with other things and get my mind off the Lord and that is when I get myself in trouble, I then have to go to Him and tell Him I’m sorry and ask His forgiveness! He is always there to help me! Keep your eyes on God Keep your eyes on God and your body shall be full of light, Keep your eyes on God, Keep your eyes on God and your body shall be full of light! I love my Jesus, He loves me too! I seek His favor in everything I do! I love my Jesus for He’s my Savior and He has brought me unto the fountain The blessed fountain of living water, the crystal fountain that never shall run dry! O Hallelujah,I praise my Savior for He is willing and He is able to break the fetters of chains that bind us and give the victory in every time of need!

This morning my homemaker was on her way to work and the roads were really rough, when tires on her car went into one of those ruts and went spinning down the road until at last finally backed into the ditch. She said she opened her car door and checked the car and then spun up out of the ditch again. She was fortunate not to have gotten hurt and neither did her car. The frost heaves are just terrible, especially on  the Tibbits Road. They will get worse before they get better. After this it will probably get those awful mud holes. I suppose after the snow is gone the rain and floods will come and will once again construction will commence on the roads. Then comes the summer and every time we go anywhere, we will run into construction work. It seems to  be on what every route we take. They tell us not to complain if we want better roads, it is necessary for the construction to be done and we know within ourselves that they are right. It is just that we get so tired of this construction it seems to be the same thing every year. Yet if they don’t work on the roads we complain about that too. Are we not very hard to please at times? I guess that is just part of life,is it not?Life’s road is always rough,or so it seems!we weren’t promised an easy or smooth road all the way home!It is so much easier if we have Jesus on board our vessel . He promised never to leave  or forsake us,He said I will never leave you! He told us to cast our burdens and cares on Him!

I am writing this in Oromocto while waiting in the car for my hubby and granddaughter to come out of the mall . Jesus said I am the way, the truth and the light It is so good to know that His yoke is easy and  his burden is light!  It is also good to know that He is always there for us. He is one in whom we can trust and He will never tell us anything that is false or go back on His Word!He is the light to lighten the way when it seems so dark we don’t know which way  to turn, we can just call on His His Name ,Jesus, and  he will be right there to help us.  His Word tells us to commit our ways unto Him, trust also in Him, and He will bring it to pass! Psalms 37:5  If our way becomes rough we can grow stronger if we will trust Him!  I love this way to the Gloryland.  I  don;t know of any other friend who would care for us like  Jesus does!

Though rough the road, though steep  the climb, still  I’m going right on, though the mountains we pass may seem so steep it seems all hope is gone.  The rivers we cross may seem so deep , still I;m travelling right on. For I’ve started out and I’m going to finish this race that I have begun!   It’s the Highway to Heaven,   none can walk up there but the pure in heart. It’s the highway to heaven  and I’m walking on the King’s highway!
