Waiting1 How long have you waited? Waiting lately seems to be the story of my life! I never liked to wait but I guess perhaps I needed to learn to be more patient. Roy is having a bone scan and I am waiting in the car. I didn’t need to come with him but thought it was senseless to so at home alone until he gets through this afternoon. I do worry about him on the roads by himself especially in a storm and it is raining very hard today and I am afraid it will start to freeze and we will really be in trouble! We had a little visit with Gladys Tapley who was 101 yrs old on Oct. 7th. She is a very smart lady with an extremely alert mind! We visited while Roy had a two hour wait after his injection before he could have his scan and we then went to visit the shop where he worked for about forty years, for about l/2 hour. Then it was back to the hospital and then to Future where he picked up a wireless adapter for my computer. He then went to Giant Tiger and John Contu. By this time it was long past lunch time so we went and had a donair and headed for home. I know to most people our home would look humble but to me it was so sweet to get home! i know I am a real pest to him at times and I must cause him a lot of frustration but I do love to be where he is after all he is a wonderful hubby! Everyone is so good to me and I am so grateful for a wonderful family. I Thank God for being so good to me! I feel bad when I look back down through the years and think of the many times I didn’t have patience with my own children.I would want them to do something right when I told them to do it, not realizing that one day I would have to learn always to wait for all things. I would love to be independent, able to do everything for myself but that is not at all possible! Lately I don’t mind waiting as I keep busy as I sit and write stories as I an doing now or just watch people as they go past. Everyone is so different, God made us all so unique I love to watch folk and think about their different ways, wonder if they are truly happy and even get a chance to sit and pray for them! I can also use this waiting time to talk to the Lord and draw closer to my Lord Jesus!I love these times of waiting and talking to Him, asking Him for protection and salvation for my family and others! We can have great conversations while just waiting. One day soon our waiting will be over as He is coming to take us home! What a wonderful day that will Be. 1 Thessalonians 4:14 says For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them which also sleep in the LORD Jesus will God bring with Him, For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the LORD shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God; and the dead in Christ shall rise first Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air, and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words! Friends, please don;to get tired of waiting for His return and give up as many have, for he is coming in an hour when we think not! I want to be found waiting for his return! He is coming back He said He would, praise His Holy Name,He’s coming back again
